Their aim is to ensure that young people from Newcastle upon Tyne can have the benefit of a good education.
Scholarships are available for those in Year 1 of an undergraduate programme at Newcastle University.
To be eligible for this award you must:
- be a Year 1 undergraduate student in any discipline
- be under the age of 25 years by the time you conclude your undergraduate degree
- have been resident within the boundaries of Newcastle upon Tyne for five years or more (postcodes include NE1, NE2, NE3, NE4, NE5, NE6, NE7, NE12, NE13, and NE15)
- be in need of financial assistance
We will award scholarships to up to four undergraduate students. They will come from a widening participation background and/or have low household incomes. No application is necessary.
